App Store Listing Verification

  • DeveloperShadow Launch Technology Limited
  • App ID932747118
  • $2.99 one-time purchase
  • For iPhone and iPad

Shadowrocket is available only on the App Store. Check your store and purchase account first, then verify the developer, app icon, and app ID. The US store price is $2.99; actual prices, system requirements, and purchase availability across devices are shown on the App Store listing.

Buying the app is not the same as paying for a service. You’ll need your own subscription or server details to use it.

STORE / ACCOUNT REGION

Store Availability & Account Region

Shadowrocket isn’t available on the mainland China App Store. If it doesn’t appear in search results, check which App Store storefront you’re using instead of trying different search terms. The country or region linked to your Apple ID determines which store you see and which apps it offers. Changing your device language to English or changing its regional format does not change the store region for your purchase account.

The button on this page opens Shadowrocket’s App Store listing. The store may show availability messages based on your device and signed-in account. Seeing the product page in a browser doesn’t guarantee that your account can purchase it; check the purchase page and system messages in the App Store. If the app isn’t available in your region, verify your account rather than treating a similarly named search result as an alternative.

How to check your country or region

On your device, go to Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region. You may need to verify your identity. Check the country or region shown. If you need to change it, use the Change Country or Region option on that page and review the listed requirements. Labels and menu locations can vary slightly by system version, so follow what appears on your device.

Changing your region can affect account balance, active subscriptions, payment methods, and other purchase requirements. Whether you can make the change depends on Apple’s account rules and your account status. This manual explains where to find the setting but can’t predict the outcome. If you can’t continue, address the restrictions shown on screen, keep your purchase records, and use the Apple Support option on your device to check account issues.

If the product page shows a price, check the developer and app ID before confirming payment. Payment failures, account verification, and store region are purchase issues; server settings in the app can’t change them. Keeping purchase issues separate from connection issues prevents you from changing unrelated network settings before you’ve obtained the app.

IDENTITY / THREE CHECKS

Developer, Official App Icon & App ID

The name helps you find the app; these three details confirm its identity. Check all three on the same product page before purchasing.

Don’t rely on the search result name alone

Shadowrocket may be referred to by a Chinese nickname, but the nickname alone does not identify the product. Search results may include similar names or icons. Before purchasing, open the product page and compare the developer’s full name with the one listed here. A short title, promotional description, or icon alone is not enough to verify the app.

The official app icon has a white background and a blue-purple outlined rocket. Use it for a quick visual check, but verify the developer and app ID as well. If any of the three details don’t match, stop and return to the product page linked here to check the listing again. Don’t assume two apps are the same just because their names look alike.

The app ID is the numeric identifier in the product URL. The App Store link on this page points to id932747118. The regional part of the URL may vary by storefront, but the app’s numeric identifier stays the same. If you can’t view the URL in the App Store, use the system share option to view or copy the product link and check the app ID. You don’t need to share your account or payment details with anyone.

Check your purchase record

After payment, keep your App Store purchase record and confirm that the app appears under Purchased for the account you used. Get future updates through the App Store, and refer to the listing for update details. A specific version number isn’t a reliable way to verify an app, since the version offered can change with compatibility and updates.

IPHONE / FIRST OPEN

Purchase and First Launch on iPhone

On your iPhone, open the verified App Store listing and check the compatibility section before purchasing at the displayed price. See the listing for system requirements; compatibility on another device doesn’t guarantee compatibility on yours. After payment and download are complete, open Shadowrocket from the Home Screen or App Library.

Before your first session, make sure you already have your own subscription or server details. Buying the app gives you access to the client; it doesn’t automatically add a working server. Choose the appropriate option to import your existing details—for example, enter them manually with Add Server or scan your own information using Scan QR Code. See the setup guide for field details and import steps.

What the system VPN configuration permission means

When you first try to connect, the system may ask permission to add a VPN configuration. This system authorization lets the client set up a network connection; it isn’t a new app purchase. Make sure the request was triggered by Shadowrocket, which you just opened, then review the prompt and follow the system’s verification steps. Granting permission doesn’t mean the server is ready to use; check your existing server details and connection status separately.

If you’re not ready to connect, you can import and check your details first, then handle the permission prompt later. Whether the system asks again after you’ve allowed a configuration depends on its current state. You don’t need to keep deleting configurations to make the prompt appear again. If authorization fails, check the system message and any device management restrictions, then try again in the app.

Check app download and connection separately

Seeing the app icon on your device means you’ve completed the App Store download. Next, check the selected server in Home and review Global Routing. Configuration, proxy, and direct connection correspond to Config, Proxy, and Direct. Turn on the app, then test access. If you have connection issues, follow the connection troubleshooting steps instead of buying the app again.

You don’t need to buy the app again just because you’re using an iPad instead of another device with the same purchase account. First check the purchase account and compatibility in the next section. If the store still shows a price, don’t pay yet; check the account signed in under Media & Purchases and the original purchase record first.

IPAD / PURCHASE SCOPE

iPad & Other Apple Devices

After purchasing once with an Apple ID, you can use that purchase record on compatible iPhone and iPad devices. On your iPad, confirm the original purchase account under Media & Purchases, then find Shadowrocket in the App Store’s Purchased section. See the listing for system requirements and purchase availability across devices; the store on your device shows whether you can get it.

The iPad’s larger screen can change how lists, details, and landscape layouts appear compared with iPhone. Use English interface labels such as Home, Config, and Settings to find features; they’re more reliable than expecting buttons to stay in the same place. If the orientation or window size changes, check the current list and details area rather than assuming you have a different product.

A purchase record can help you restore the app, but it doesn’t mean in-app data has synced. When you first open Shadowrocket on iPad, check your server list, current Config, and Global Routing. To use the same connection details as on iPhone, import your own subscription or server information and check the service’s device limits. The app purchase and the service’s usage terms are separate.

Mac, Apple TV & Apple Vision

The compatibility section of the same App Store listing includes Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. To use Shadowrocket on one of these devices, find the same product in that device’s App Store and check its compatibility details. See the listing for universal purchase availability, system requirements, and device-specific conditions. This guide focuses on iPhone and iPad, so don’t assume touchscreen instructions apply to other devices.

If another device doesn’t show the expected purchase status, first check the signed-in account and product identity, then review the purchase terms shown by that device’s App Store. Don’t assume devices have the same purchase account just because they belong to the same person. The actual sign-in under Media & Purchases is where to start when looking for the purchase record.

RESTORE / PURCHASE RECORD

Restore a Purchase After Switching Devices or Reinstalling

On your new device, or after deleting the app, sign in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase. In the App Store, go to Account → Purchased, find Shadowrocket, and tap the redownload button. Depending on your system, the list may appear under Apps or My Apps. Your original purchase record usually lets you download the app again without paying.

If you can’t find your purchase record

  1. Check the Apple ID signed in under Media & Purchases and make sure it’s the account you used to pay.
  2. Search Purchased for the full app name, Shadowrocket, and verify the developer details.
  3. Check for hidden purchases in your account and review the original purchase record.
  4. If you’ve changed your account region, check the current storefront’s availability and any system messages.

If the product page shows a price again, don’t rush to pay a second time. First check that you’re using the original purchase account and that the purchase history belongs to the account you’re viewing. If you can find the payment record but still can’t redownload the app, keep the order details and use the Apple Support option on your device. An in-app connection error doesn’t mean your App Store purchase record is missing.

Restoring the app and restoring its configuration are different

Redownloading from Purchased restores the app itself. Whether your server details, subscription links, and configurations are still available depends on your previous backup and restore. After installing on a new device, check whether your own information is already there. If not, import your existing subscription or server details and select the right configuration. Other people’s connection details aren’t part of purchase restoration.

If a device backup restored your configuration, check the current server, Global Routing, and system VPN authorization again. A successful connection on your old device doesn’t verify the new one; network conditions, service status, and system permissions may differ. Test access before deciding whether to adjust the configuration.

Family Sharing eligibility depends on the App Store listing and Apple’s current rules. Check the relevant family settings and product page rather than assuming this app can be shared because other apps can. For more help switching devices, read Restore a purchased app on a new iPhone.

PRICE / ONE-TIME PURCHASE

One-Time Purchase: Price & What It Covers

Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source commercial app sold as a one-time purchase. The US store price is $2.99; other storefronts show prices in their local currencies. Check the App Store listing for the actual price and purchase terms. Before paying, confirm the currency and amount on the purchase confirmation screen rather than relying on a converted price from another region.

The app isn’t billed monthly. After a one-time purchase, the original purchase account can manage the purchase record, redownload the app, and receive updates under the App Store’s rules. Check the current listing for system requirements, compatibility, and purchase availability across devices. A one-time purchase doesn’t guarantee availability on every future device or system.

If the app is purchased but the list is empty, you still need to import your own details; the App Store hasn’t failed to deliver part of your purchase. If an existing subscription won’t update, check that the link is valid, the service is active, and the app’s import settings are correct. If a server won’t connect, check its settings and your network. These are separate from paying for the app through the App Store.

Billing and usage terms for an existing service are set by that service; this page doesn’t handle transactions or help you choose one. To troubleshoot, check in order whether the app is purchased, your details are imported, the right configuration is selected, and the connection works. This helps avoid paying repeatedly for the same client. For purchase history or billing issues, follow the App Store account and order process.

Final Checks Before Purchasing

Confirm that your account can access the product page, all three identifying details match this page, the payment currency is as expected, and your device meets the store’s compatibility requirements. Make sure you understand the difference between the app fee and the connection service. Once you’ve checked these points, you can purchase; if you already own the app, check Purchased first. For next steps, see the Shadowrocket setup guide. For connection and rule issues, see Frequently Asked Questions.

QUESTIONS / PURCHASE CHECK

Purchase & Download FAQs

Why can’t I find Shadowrocket on the App Store?

Shadowrocket isn’t available on the mainland China App Store. The country or region linked to your Apple ID determines which App Store content you can see. Check the account used for Media & Purchases and its country or region, then check whether the product page is available. Your device language and current location don’t change your store region.

What if the product page opens but the download won’t complete?

Note the exact App Store message, then check your account region, payment status, device compatibility, available storage, and network connection. If you’ve already purchased the app, check Purchased under the original purchase account before buying it again on another account.

Do I have to pay again when I get a new iPhone?

On the App Store, sign in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase, open Purchased in your account, find Shadowrocket, and download it again. You usually won’t need to pay again. The app purchase is separate from your subscription and server details, so you’ll still need to restore or import your own configuration on the new device.

Can I install it on my iPad if I bought it on my iPhone?

After purchasing with an Apple ID, you can redownload the app from your purchase history on compatible iPhone and iPad devices. Make sure both devices use the same purchase account for Media & Purchases. See the App Store listing for system requirements and purchase availability across devices.

Is Shadowrocket available on Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision?

The compatibility section of the same App Store listing includes Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Check availability in the App Store on the device you want to use. Refer to the listing for universal purchase availability, system requirements, and device-specific compatibility.

What if the app opens in English?

Use the English interface labels in the official manual to find features, such as Home, Add Server, Config, and Settings. The displayed language depends on the app’s language support and your device settings. Follow the guide to import your existing details, then check Global Routing and the connection status.
